Ten years later.

Look at us.

The world is certainly a different place. Or maybe it's the same, but feels different due to being older. Chances are, if you are reading this - it could possibly be on a smart phone or a tablet; something not really fathomed ten years ago.

I had it mind to explore the possibility of revisiting this small blog as an anniversary; perhaps the current pandemic gave me more time to reflect and I became more nostaligic about an array of things; including abandonware.

I found an old CD with certain material from the abandonware scene of yester-year and a few articles (non-sensationalism this time) I had in mind to publish, if anyone is out there and wishes to view it.

To manage expectations, this woud be something I update every fortnight.

I hope everyone is well and pray to the abandonware gods that the comments sections do not get riddled with comments by the swines that are spambots posting backlinks on the internet and what not.

Hey Saint, glad to know you're still around. And yes, I'm posting this from my phone!

I'm sure Jaan mentioned to you that we have a thing call a Discord server. It would be awesome to see you there!

We're still trying to keep the fire going!

Stay safe out there and hopefully it won't take you another 10 years to write your next article!

Mr Saint, I hope you're well!

I'm sorry I missed your update last week, it was past my bedtime ;)

Looking forward to seeing what you dig up from the archives!

Che Guevara: Great to see you here and I hope you are well! I shall most certainly check out this Discord server (if I can figure out to work it) I'll also try and beat the 10 year time frame too!

Rik: I hope you are keeping well - I messaged Stoo recently too; glad to see FFG is still thriving! All is forgiven with the missed update; no scathing articles on webrings this time around! :P

Hi Saint,

Well, FFG is still going, I'm not sure about thriving! We do our best.

I took on APlaces on the basis that a schedule of a once-weekly update would be sufficient for the current levels of activity. I think I found myself falling asleep in my old age that Sunday and did the update earlier than usual.

Not so this week, however!
